Baltimore Release Earl Thomas After One Season

On Friday, Earl Thomas got sent home from practice after getting into an altercation with teammate Chuck Clark, after the altercation people were wondering what Thomas’s future was with The Baltimore Ravens and now we an answer. On Sunday, Baltimore cut Earl Thomas. This comes 1 year into a 4 year $55 million contract that he signed with Baltimore last off-season.



Last season in 15 games, Thomas recorded 32 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 2 interceptions, 2 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, and 4 pass deflections. When Baltimore signed Earl Thomas, there were a lot of expectations for Thomas due to his production in Seattle but he did not live up to expectations and was inconsistent on the field.
