Over the past several months, All Elite Wrestling has picked up a lot of steam and become the talk of the wrestling world. From CM Punk joining the company and returning to wrestling, Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole joining the company, and fantastic wrestling All Elite Wrestling is taking the wrestling world by storm. Tonight, All Elite Wrestling showcases their talent with Full Gear. With that in mind, who is going to come out on top in their respective matches?
Hikaru Shida and Thunder Rosa vs. Jamie Hayter and Nyla Rose
Over the past several weeks, All Elite Wrestling has been holding a tournament to crown the first-ever TBS Women’s Champion. In the second round, Hikaru Shida will face Nyla Rose and Thunder Rosa will face Jamie Hayter. At Full Gear all 4 of them compete in a tag team match.
Despite this being a tag team match, all 4 women will have the chance to shine and get the upper hand on their opponent leading up the second round of the TBS Women’s Championship Tournament.
Since this match is on the pre-show, All Elite Wrestling wants to keep the fans happy before the main card begins. With that in mind, Shida and Rosa are going to pick up the win in a hard-fought match.
Prediction: Thunder Rosa and Hikaru Shida
Christian Cage and Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) vs. Superkliq (Adam Cole and The Young Bucks) Falls Count Anywhere Match
Since joining The Elite at All Out, Adam Cole has made his presence known in All Elite Wrestling so far with the group. Over the past few months, The Elite and Jurassic Express have been at war with each other. At Full Gear, Christian Cage evens the odds for Jurassic Express against Adam Cole and The Young Bucks.
Both teams have a lot to prove, and with how talented all 6 wrestlers are, this match should be entraining to watch. With this being Falls Count Anywhere, the rules are out the window and those kinds of matches are some of the most fun to watch
Even though a win over The Superkliq would be huge for Jungle Boy, the company needs to keep the momentum going that Cole and The Young Bucks have and a win here would do just that.
Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. (c) (with Rebel and Jamie Hayter) vs. Tay Conti (with Anna Jay) for the AEW Women’s World Championship
Since winning the AEW Women’s Championship, Dr. Britt Baker has been a dominating champion defeating Nyla Rose, Red Velvet, Ruby Soho, and Kris Statlander to retain her championship. Even though Baker has defeated victories over quality opponents, Full Gear will be a tough challenge against Tay Conti.
After getting cut by WWE in 2020, Conti has showcased her skills in AEW and looks to be a potential AEW Women’s Champion in the future. Despite most of her matches being on AEW Dark and AEW Dark Elevation, the talent Conti has shown is nothing to overlook at Full Gear is the place for her to prove that.
Even though Tay Conti has improved drastically and looks to be a future AEW Women’s Champion, now is not her time to win the title. Britt Baker has been nothing short but the face of the AEW Women’s Divison for the past several months and having her retain the title is the way to go.
Winner: Britt Baker
Bryan Danielson vs. Miro AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament Final Winner receives a future AEW World Championship Match.
Since arriving in AEW, Bryan Danielson has put on spectacular matches against Kenny Omega, Eddie Kingston, Bobby Fish, and Minoru Suzuki. After defeating Dustin Rhodes and Eddie Kingston to reach the finals of the Eliminator Tournament, Danielson will face Miro who defeated Orange Cassidy as a replacement for Jon Moxley in the tournament,
Despite being in the WWE for several years, Danielson and Miro have not faced each other in a one-on-one match since a 2018 episode of SmackDown Live where Miro picked up the win over Danielson.
Before Moxley was replaced, Danielson winning the match and earning an AEW World Championship Match was looking like the way AEW was going. With Moxley out now, even though Danielson winning would be fun to see, Miro is the way to go here especially if Adam Page wins.
Cody Rhodes and Pac vs. Andrade El Idolo and Malakai Black
Since arriving in All Elite Wrestling, Malakai Black targeted Cody Rhodes leading to an intense rivalry which included Black attacking Rhodes putting him on the shelf for several weeks.
Just like Black and Rhodes, Andrade and Pac have been at each other throats over the past few weeks with Pac getting the upper hand on Andrade defeating him on Rampage. Despite Pac winning, Andrade and Black formed a partnership after the match.
All 4 Wrestlers are capable of putting on quality matches. Over the past few weeks, the partnership between Andrade and Malakai Black has been phenomenal and AEW needs to capitalize on this and have them pick up the win here and further the storyline between all 4 people.
Prediction: Andrade El Idolo and Malakai Black
The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana and Ortiz) vs. (Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky Junior dos Santos, Andrei Arlovski, and Dan Lambert) Minneapolis Street Fight
Over the past few months, The Inner Circle and American Top Team have been at each other throats. Both teams have gotten the best out of the other team including Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page defeating Chris Jericho and Jake Hager with help from Jorge Masvidal. At Full Gear, both teams look to settle the score.
Coming off a feud with The Pinnacle, The Inner Circle is looking to prove they are still one of the most dominant factions in AEW. Even Though American Top Team has dos Santos Arlovski and Lambert all competing in the ring on Pay Per View for the first time, Sky and Page are seasoned veterans of the ring and are known as a force to be reckoned with in AEW.
Even though AEW can drag this out and have American Top Team win, having The Inner Circle win here is the way to go at Full Gear. One way American Top Team makes sense to win is if Jorge Masvidal shows up but with him suffering an injury, The Inner Circle winning this match makes a lot more sense.
Winner: The Inner Circle
Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fénix) (c) (with Alex Abrahantes) vs. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) (with Tully Blanchard for the AEW World Tag Team Championship
Since winning the AEW World Tag Team Championship from The Young Bucks at All Out, The Lucha Brothers have defended their titles against The Butcher and The Blade, and The Acclaimed. At Full Gear, Lucha Brothers have their biggest challenge as champions against FTR.
Both teams are known for putting on phenomenal Tag Team Matches, with this year winding down this match could be one of the best Tag Team Matches in AEW this year if not should be in consideration. FTR already has an upper hand defeating The Lucha Brothers a few weeks ago on Dynamite for the AAA World Tag Team Championship.
Even though FTR has the upper hand, The Lucha Brothers have only been champion for two months and it’s hard to see them dropping the titles so soon after winning them and in a brutal match nonetheless.
Winner: Lucha Brothers
Darby Allin (with Sting) vs. MJF (with Wardlow)
Over the past several weeks, MJF has been trying to get inside the head of Darby Allin resulting in reminding him of his past and The Pinnacle attacking him in the Parking Lot sideling Allin for a few weeks. At Full Gear, two of the brightest young stars in AEW face off in MJF vs Darby Allin.
After losing to CM Punk at All Out, Allin rebounded with a 5-0 record in his last five matches. Despite his size, Darby Allin is an outstanding wrestler who is not afraid to take a risk to get the win. With how Allin and MJF are in the ring, this has the makings to be an entraining match.
Even though both men would benefit drastically from winning this match, MJF would benefit more from winning this match than Darby. With MJF most likely in line to compete for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship and TNT Championship in 2022, a win here for MJF would go a long way in the title picture.
Prediction: Darby Allin
CM Punk vs. Eddie Kingston
After being away from the ring since 2014, CM Punk returned to wrestling with All Elite Wrestling. Since returning in August, Punk has put on decent matches against Darby Allin, Bobby Fish, Matt Sydal, Powerhouse Hoobs, and Daniel Garcia.
Despite Punk being 5-0 so far in AEW, he is going up against a tough challenge in Eddie Kingston at Full Gear. Over the past few weeks, Punk and Kingston have made this rivalry more personal resulting in a brawl on AEW Rampage just last week.
With how outstanding both wrestlers are, this match will most likely be a contender for one of the best matches of the night. Even though Kingston won’t go down without a fight, having CM Punk win is the way to go here.
Prediction: CM Punk
Kenny Omega (c) vs. Adam Page For The AEW World Championship
Over the past year, Adam Page has been fighting to become the AEW World Champion. In 2021, Page has gone a lot including getting attacked by The Elite resulting in him being away from All Elite Wrestling for several months. After winning the Casino Ladder Match a month ago, Adam Page gets a chance at the title against Kenny Omega at AEW Full Gear.
Despite being rivals, Omega and Page used to be the AEW World Tag Team Champions before losing the title to FTR. Both Men have a lot of chemistry with each other and both have proven they can put on outstanding matches with each other.
Despite Kenny Omega being a dominating champion, Adam Page is the perfect opponent for Omega to drop the title to. All Elite Wrestling has told the story of Page being the underdog and now is the perfect time to pull the trigger on him as World Champion.
Winner: Adam Page
