Since AEW Revolution in March, AEW has been on a roll putting on specular stories, great matches, and having some surprising moments ranging from MJF forming The Pinnacle to the Blood and Guts Match. On Sunday, All Elite Wrestling presents Double Or Nothing. With titles on the line and feuds getting settled, who will come out on top at Double Or Nothing?
Serena Deeb vs Rhio For The NWA Women’s Championship
Since becoming NWA Women’s Champion Serena Deeb has faced the likes of Red Velvet Thunder Rosa, and Tay Conti defeating all 3 of them to retain her title. At Double Or Nothing, she faces a tough challenge in Riho. Even though Riho is a talented wrestler, Deeb is the NWA Women’s Champion for a reason and at Double Or Nothing, she is going to prove why and walk out still champion.
Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Dr. Britt Baker For The AEW Women’s World Championship
Since becoming AEW Women’s Champion last year, Hikaru Shida has been a fighting champion defending her title against Nyla Rose, Tay Conti, Anna Jay, Thunder Rosa, and Penelope Ford. At Double Or Nothing, Shida faces one of her toughest challenges as champion in Dr. Britt Baker. Even though Shida has been an outstanding champion, now is the time for Britt Baker to become AEW Women’s Champion and AEW needs to capitalize on that and give her the title.
Prediction: Dr. Britt Baker
Cody Rhodes vs. Anthony Ogogo
Since siding with QT Marshall, Anthony Ogogo has been impressive with wins over Cole Karter and Austin Gunn by referee stoppage. At Double Or Nothing, Ogogo takes on his biggest challenge to date in Cody Rhodes. Ogogo has the tools to become a dominating heel and AEW needs to capitalize on that and have Ogogo go over Rhodes at Double Or Nothing if the company is serious about giving him a massive push.
Prediction: Anthony Ogogo
Miro (c) vs. Lance Archer For The TNT Championship
After turning on Kip Sabian, Miro has been on a mission to prove that he is one of the most dominating wrestlers in AEW and he proved that a few weeks ago defeating Darby Allin to become the new TNT Champion. Miro’s first defense at Double Or Nothing won’t come easy against Lance Archer. Although Archer is a tough challenge, Miro has shown a mean streak over the past few weeks and he has looked unstoppable and it does not look like his reign will end anytime soon.
Christian Cage vs. Matt Sydal vs. Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Jungle Boy vs. Matt Hardy vs. Marq Quen vs. Isiah Kassidy vs. The Blade vs. Evil Uno vs. Colt Cabana vs. Preston Vance vs. Griff Garrison vs. Brian Pillman Jr vs. Max Caster vs. Anthony Bowens vs. QT Marshall vs. Nick Comoroto vs. Dustin Rhodes vs. Lee Johnson vs. TBA Casino Battle Royale
For the 3rd Year in a row, AEW will be putting on a Casino Battle Royale where the winner gets a future AEW World Championship Shot. Adam Page won the inaugural Casino Battle Royale at Double Or Nothing 2019 and Lance Archer won the match in 2020. In 2021, the match involves names like Christian Cage, Powerhouse Hobbs, Matt Hardy, Max Caster, and Penta El Zero Miedo. This match has the makings to be unpredictable, especially with the last member of the match being a mystery. Even though there are a lot of options to win the match, Christian Cage makes the most sense. Ever since debuting in AEW, Christian has been putting on quality matches showcasing his abilities in the ring. With how much momentum he gained since joining AEW, the company needs to pull the trigger and give Christian the win and the future World Title Shot.
Prediction: Christian Cage
Adam Page vs. Brian Cage
Over the past few weeks, Team Taz has been a thorn on Adam Page’s side, leading up to Page facing Brian Cage at Double Or Nothing. Despite not being in the World Title Hunt, Adam Page has been impressive over the past few months including a win over Matt Hardy at Revolution. Just last month, Cage picked up a win over Page on an episode of Dynamite. With this being a Pay Per View match, Page knows how to get the job done when the bright lights are on and he would benefit a lot more than Cage would with a win here at Double Or Nothing.
Prediction: Adam Page
The Pinnacle vs. The Inner Circle Stadium Stampede Match
Over the past several months, The Pinnacle and The Inner Circle have been at an all-out war to see who is the top stable in AEW. Just a few weeks ago, The Pinnacle got the upper hand defeating The Inner Circle in a Blood And Guts Match. At Double Or Nothing, these two teams battle in the second Stadium Stampede Match. With The Inner Circle already losing at Blood And Guts, The Inner Circle winning here makes the most sense in this feud.
Prediction: The Inner Circle
Sting and Darby Allin vs. Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page
After defeating Team Taz and ending a several-month feud with them, Sting and Darby Allin have a new target on their back in Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page. Since becoming a tag team, Sky and Page have been impressive picking up several wins on AEW Dark Evolution. Over the past weeks, Page and Sky have turned their attention to Allin and Sting, leading to attacking Allin backstage. Even though this is Sting’s first non-cinematic wrestling match in several years, AEW needs to pull the trigger on Sky and Page, and having them beat Sting and Allin at Double Or Nothing would benefit them in the long run.
Prediction: Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky
The Young Bucks (c) vs. Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston For The AEW Tag Team Championship
After losing to Kenny Omega at AEW Revolution, Jon Moxley formed a tag team with Eddie Kingston. Since Kingston and Moxley became a tag team, they have been a thorn in the side of The Young Bucks. At Double Or Nothing, Mox and Kingston get a chance at the AEW World Tag Team Titles, it will be a tough task against The Young Bucks who have defeated teams like SCU, Inner Circle, and Death Triangle to retain their titles. This match will be fun to watch, but at the end of the day, The Young Bucks are going to find a way to stay champions. With that said, it would not surprise me if a title change happens here.
Prediction: The Young Bucks
Kenny Omega (c) vs. Orange Cassidy vs. Pac For The AEW World Championship
Since becoming the AEW World Champion, Kenny Omega has been unstoppable not only in AEW but in Impact Wrestling becoming the Impact World Champion as well as being AEW World Champion. Despite all the obstacles he had to jump through since becoming champion, at Double Or Nothing Omega not only has one person to deal with but he has two people to deal with in Pac and Orange Cassidy. Even though Cassidy and Pac are both fantastic performers, Omega is just on another level over the past several months, and he is just going to be too much for Cassidy and Pac.
Prediction: Kenny Omega
