Well here we ago again, the Jersey Shore is back! Or, is it General Hospital? It most certainly isn’t High School Musical.
On one hand, Antonio Brown’s absence from the news the last few weeks has been refreshing for us all. On the other, the NFL is sorely missing one of it’s most talented receivers due to the drama he’s brought upon himself. Soon, his future will have more clarity.
On November 14th Antonio Brown will be given an opportunity to meet with the NFL and discuss his side of the story. This will be in regards to the sexual assault allegations brought upon him. Upon completion of the investigation, so long Brown remains innocent, he could see himself returning. There are reportedly several teams interested in acquiring his talents at the conclusion of his investigation.
In other news, Dez Bryant is also back in headlines as his recent tweet has garnered some attention. According to Bryant himself, he’s feeling good enough to play again. In two weeks, he will begin contacting teams for the possibility of joining. 2017 was the last time we saw him on the field, when he put up 6 TD’s and 838 yards. The one-time 1st Team All Pro and 3-Time Pro Bowl Selection could possibly find himself on a team making a run for the Super Bowl. With his talent, it would be hard to pass up the opportunity to make a championship run with his addition in your receiving corps.
What do you think? If you were a General Manager would the risk outweigh the reward with these two, or would you pass immediately?
UPDATE: Moments after this article was posted, Antonio Brown made a vulgar Twitter post. Could this have been his last straw? Has he officially ruined his chances of playing in the NFL again?
