A Cowboy Has Rode In To Save UFC Glendale

Alex ‘Cowboy’ Oliveira has agreed to replace Matt Brown at UFC Glendale. Not only will Carlos Condit stay on the card, but now he gets another exciting opponent. I am beyond stoked that the UFC has saved the Glendale show, and arguably made a fight with the same level of hype.

Oliveira was last seen in the octagon in what I thought was the 2017 Fight Of The Year against Yancy Medeiros. Although he lost in the 3rd round, Cowboy had been 4-0 previous to that. He had three finishes among those four wins. An unsuspecting contender, Oliveira only knows one way to fight… and that’s in a war! I am actually more excited for this fight than I was for the Matt Brown fight.

Carlos Condit has lost three straight fights coming into this, so he will be desperate for a win. He has the perfect opponent for what I expect to be an all out war. Carlos Condit only has two wins by decision out of his thirty career wins, so finishes come regularly for the fighter called the ‘Natural Born Killer.’ This is a phenomenal fight for all MMA fans. April 14th cannot come sooner.
