49ers to Regain Key Players

The San Francisco 49ers will look to regain key players on the defensive side of the ball this Saturday as they take on the Minnesota Vikings in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs.

Kwon Alexander, Dee Ford, Kentavius Street and Mike Person were all limited participants in practice today and look to participate in this Saturday’s game against the Vikings. Jaquiski Tartt was a full participant in practice.

Starting middle linebacker Kwon Alexander was a huge offseason free agent signing, but has been on injured reserved since tearing his left pectoral muscle during a Thursday Night Football match against the Arizona Cardinals on Halloween night.

Meanwhile Dee Ford returned to practice since being out since week 14 after aggravating a hamstring injury against the New Orlean Saints. Before being injured Ford garnered 6.5 sacks in 11 games and was a critical part of a defensive line rotation that includes Nick Bosa, DeForest Buckner, and Arik Armstead.
