On Wednesday, Klay Thompson suffered a leg injury during a workout in California and on Thursday Thompson went for an MRI for further test on the injury and it doesn’t look good for the Golden State Warriors. On Thursday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski, Klay Thompson suffered a Achilles tear and will be out for the entire 2020-21 NBA Season. Thompson did not play the 2019-20 NBA Season due to rehabbing a torn ACL suffered in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors.
During the 2018-19 regular season, Klay Thompson averaged 21.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.4 assist and 1.1 steals in 78 Regular Season Games. In the playoffs, Thompson averaged 20.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.1 assist and 1.3 steals before suffering a torn ACL in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals.
