With the trade deadline coming on November 3rd, a lot of teams across the league are going to be looking to add a special piece to their roster. The deadline is often considered to be the moment where teams decide if they’re chasing a championship, or preparing for next season. The New England Patriots have many questions surrounding their squad. Will they be selling or buying before the trade deadline?
While many had faith they could remain a contender without Tom Brady, it hasn’t gone that way this season. Sitting at 2-4, Bill Belichick might end this campaign with a loosing record for the first time since he became head coach for the Patriots. According to NFL insider Albert Breer, the Patriots are open to trading “almost anyone” in their organization heading into tuesday.
Players like Joe Thuney, Julian Edelman or even Stephon Gilmore would be able to push a team into contention and bring a sizeable return to fuel New England’s rebuild. It’s safe to say that a lot of players are going to have building interest. It’s going to be very interesting to follow along New England’s struggles after we’ve all been used to their excellent winning culture. Personally, watching this front office go through a rebuild is going to be a first.
We will keep updating on the situation in NE as information becomes available.
