Amar’e Stoudamire will be joining Steve Nash on the bench for Brooklyn Nets games. The six time all-star will be making his coaching debut alongside his former teammate next season.

Stoudamire and Nash were teammates on the Phoenix Suns as part of Mike D’Antoni’s “7 Seconds Or Less” squad. Nash won both of his MVP awards during those years and developed great on-court chemistry running the pick-and-roll with Stoudamire.

Neither player was able to win a championship during their playing years, but with a Brooklyn roster that boasts both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, there’s a chance that they can make a run back at a title as a coaching duo.
