Josh Allen guided the Buffalo Bills offense to their second consecutive win on the season, defeating division rival the Miami Dolphins 31-28. Allen, who ended the day with 417 yards passing, threw for four touchdown passes while also rushing for 18 yards on four carries. With his performance Sunday, Josh Allen is the first Bills quarterback to post back-to-back 300 yard plus passing games since Drew Bledsoe in 2002. The Bills new #1 receiver, Stefon Diggs, led the team with 153 receiving yards on eight catches. Devin Singletary led the Bills’ rushing attack on the day, gaining 56 yards on ten carries, while also hauling in two catches 20 yards. The Bills totaled 524 of offense during the game, which was the most by the team since 2000. In another surprising statistic, Josh Allen is only the second Bills quarterback in franchise to throw for over 400 yards and four touchdowns in a game, with the other being Joe Ferguson.

Ryan Fitzpatrick played a fantastic game in a loss, completing 31 of 47 attempts for 328 yards and two touchdowns. Tight end Mike Gesicki led the team in receiving with eight catches totaling 130 yards and a touchdown. DeVante Parker also found the end zone on the day, catching five passes for 53 yards as well. The Miami running game could not find its traction, with the team totaling 99 yards rushing on 22 carries. Both Myles Gaskin and Matt Breida rush seven times on the day, each totaling under 50 yards rushing. The Dolphins free agent pick up during the off season, Jordan Howard, continues to have little to no presence in the Dolphins offensive scheme, as Howard only rushed four times for five yards. Howard did rush for the teams only touchdown on the ground, the only rushing touchdown the Dolphins were able to get on the day.

The Buffalo Bills host the Los Angeles Rams next week, while the Miami Dolphins will play on Thursday night in Jacksonville.
