Seven time NASCAR Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson has made it clear that the 2020 season will be his last full time season in NASCAR. However, Johnson’s racing career will not be over, as Johnson signed a two year deal with Chip Ganassi Racing that will put him behind the wheel of not a NASCAR Cup Series car, but a NTT IndyCar.

Johnson tweeted this Wednesday morning:

While sponsorship for the car have not been lined up for 2021 and 2022, Johnson will drive the full road and street course circuit for Chip Ganassi Racing starting next season.

We will have more on this story as it progresses.
