The 35 year old veteran didn’t spend a whole lot of time on the open market as he has already signed with a new team. After being cut by the Washington Football Team, Peterson found his new home with the Detroit Lions. The deal will run for one year.

Look for him to play on running downs only and act as a mentor to the Rookie DeAndre Swift. Peterson still has gas left in the tank. He showed that last year when he ran for 838 yards. He almost beat the record he already hold for oldest Running Back to rush for 1,000 yards in a season.
