With the second game of a back-to-back set to take place tonight at 10:30 ET, it is time for another decision for Vegas Head Coach Peter DeBoer to make regarding the starting goalie.

It is clear that Robin Lehner is the guy Vegas feels more confident in going with as he has played nine games, recording seven wins, a 2.08 goals against average, a save percentage of .921, and two shutouts (both coming in the Second Round).

Through three games of the Second Round, Lehner has played phenomenal boasting a save percentage of .952, and a goals against average of 1.33.

The last time Marc-Andre Fleury played a playoff game was in the First Round against Chicago, where once again it was a back-to-back.

Fleury did fare well in this game allowing just one goal, earning a save percentage of .963 as Vegas won 2-1.

Head Coach Peter DeBoer has stated he would utilize having two goaltenders that are both able to lead Vegas to wins, although Lehner has seen every game of the playoffs since the Round Robin, except for that one game in the First Round.

If there were to be a game Fleury would most likely see ice it would be in a back-to-back, but if a goalie like Lehner is performing as well as he is I’m not sure you take him out for even a game as that could disrupt his mindset and consistency.

It is tough to see a goalie like Fleury once again sitting on the bench behind a younger goalie outperforming him.

At 35 Fleury certainly is not getting any younger but a team has to do the best thing for the team in order to have the best chance of winning the Stanley Cup as Vegas is just two wins away from another trip to the conference finals, and one of the most favored teams to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals.

Game Four between Vancouver and Vegas is set to start at 10:30 ET with Vegas looking to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series, and Vancouver looking to even the series 2-2.
