Free-agent DE Jadeveon Clowney has yet to sign with a team because of his high asking price. Clowney has turned down contract offers worth $15M per year after coming off his initial asking price of $20M. The teams who have offered that contract are unknown.

There are teams who are now questioning if Clowney will eventually accept a reduced salary or even completely sit out the 2020 season.

Clowney, 27, started 13 games last season and recorded 31 total tackles, 21 solo, seven tackles for loss, three sacks, four forced fumbles, two recoveries with one being returned for a touchdown, three pass defenses, and one interception returned for a touchdown. In two playoff starts against the Eagles and Packers, Clowney registered nine solo tackles, three tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks.
