The Philadelphia Eagles will spend the 2020 season without Pro-Bowl guard Brandon Brooks. He has torn his Achilles and now is expected to miss the 2020 season.
In the past three seasons, Brooks started all 48 games. He was one of the key pieces to the offensive line. was voted to the Pro Bowl in each season and was regarded as one of football’s best offensive linemen.
Brooks was the highest rated Guard by ProFootballFocus in 2019. Replacing him won’t be an easy feat. Given Carson Wentz injury history, this is a huge setback for this offense.
Brooks was drafted by Houston in the third round in 2012. He spent four years with the Texans before signing a five year, $40 million deal with the Eagles in 2016.
