The Dallas Cowboys and QB Andy Dalton have agreed on a one year deal worth up to $7 million. $3 million of it is guaranteed. Dalton will now serve as Dak Prescott’s backup.

Dalton was released earlier this week by the Cincinnati Bengals after they drafted LSU’s Joe Borrow first overall in the draft. On his career he is 70-61-2 record. He has thrown for 31,594 yards, 204 touchdowns and 118 interceptions.

He is a three time pro bowler and also hold a career 0-4 playoff record. Dalton has spent nine years in the league. There’s a good chance his days as a starter are over.
