The Vegas Golden Knights are strengthening one of their weaknesses, back-up goaltending.

In trading for Robin Lehner, Vegas now has one of the best goalie duos in the NHL with Marc Andre-Fleury, and Lehner as their top two goalies.

The trade is a strict one for one with Lehner going to Vegas, and Malcolm Subban heading to Chicago.

Lehner led the New York Islanders to the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals last season, and was a Vezina Trophy Finalists, won the Jennings Trophy, and Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy.

Vegas currently sits just three points ahead of Edmonton for first in the Pacific Division and have a solid chance of going back to the Stanley Cup again.
