Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry missed practice today with an apparent hamstring injury. This is nothing new as he only practiced twice last week with the same issue. It didn’t seem to phase him as he still cut through the Indianapolis Colts defense for 149 yards and a touchdown.
Tennessee is having a late season surge and a lot of what’s going on there has to do with their change at QB and the emergence of Henry as a superstar. He became just the fifth player in NFL history to have at least 145 yards and one touchdown in three straight games.
Henry is unlikely to actually miss this weekends game with the Oakland Raiders. This is good news considering they are a single game behind the Houston Texans for the AFC South title and currently have the same record as the Pittsburgh Steelers for the second Wild Card spot.
