Daniel Jones is out, Eli Manning is in. Week 14 will see the return of the two time Super Bowl champion Eli Manning as the New York Giants head to Philadelphia for a Monday night matchup that while doesn’t mean anything to the Giants except their pride, the Eagles will be hungry for a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Jones, who has played every snap since week 2, suffered a high ankle sprain in the Giants’ game against the Green Bay Packers this past Sunday. While it hasn’t been 100% confirmed, it seems very likely Manning will not only start this week, but quite possibly the remainder of the season. If Pat Shurmur is smart at all, he will shutdown Jones for the rest of the year. There is zero need to have him out there at this point, just shut him down and give him time to properly heal.
