This weeks Monday Night Football match-up may be one of the most exciting we’ve seen this season. In a battle of division rivals, the Seattle Seahawks will be traveling to San Francisco to battle it out against the 49ers.

Currently, San Francisco is the only unbeaten team sitting at 8-0. Even if they lost tonight, they would still hold home-field advantage as the #1 seed in the NFC. Seattle, however, has more to lose. With a loss tonight they would slide sideways and remain the #5 seed, but do so with a 7-3 record. But with the amount of 4-loss teams in the NFC, another loss would make any type of home field playoff game nearly impossible. There is no denying Seattle really does have the advantage at home. I am sure it is one Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson will be eyeing to get it.

Unfortunately for the Seahawks, they will be battling it out against one of the best defenses in the NFL. Though Russell Wilson is having an MVP type season, the pressure San Francisco can bring is going to prove to be a hurdle. However, if Wilson can remain calm under pressure and get his receivers involved early, the Seahawks could walk away with the W.

That means this game falls solely on the offensive line of the Seattle Seahawks. If the line can relieve pressure from Wilson, and give him even an extra second in the pocket, the 49ers defense could very well be exposed. If the 49ers can thwart the O-Line, Wilson could be in for a long night. Either way, this is easily one of the most anticipated games we will get this season.
