Apparently, the fans in the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California weren’t the only ones confused by the 2019 Hell in a Cell main event.

In case you don’t know (where have you been?), after about 84 curb stomps and multiple chair/kendo stick shots, Seth Rollins started making a big ol’ tower of doom on The Fiend’s head. Rollins then grabbed a sledgehammer, and despite the referee telling him not to, he bashed all the weapons with the sledgehammer.

After doing so, the referee called for a disqualification…..in a Hell in a Cell match….in the Main Event. Loud roars of “AEW,” and “Restart the match,” filled the arena.

The live crowd and fans at home weren’t the only ones confused, however. During WWE’s Hell in a Cell Watch Along on YouTube, Sean Waltman (X-Pac) was watching the madness unfold along with Natalya, Cathy Kelly, and some other people I don’t know.

After the ref called for the DQ, X-Pac said;

Wait….what?! Come on. Alright, you may not ask me back for another one of these, but how the hell do you get DQ’d in a Hell in a frickin’ Cell?

Waltman was visually upset at what happened, despite the others in the room try to make sense of the whole thing. So it’s alright everybody. X-Pac is with us. Actually, it’s not alright. I still can’t believe that.

Be sure to be on the look out for our Hell in a Cell Review, which should be dropping shortly!

    Not sure how you have a job here considering you can’t be bothered to actually check a source. The match didn’t end via DQ, it was put to an end by way of referee stoppage in efforts to continue the storyline, Something X-Pac, many WWE fans, and yourself don’t seem to understand.

    Well sir, if you look at the time that this was posted you will see that this was BEFORE the WWE came out and gave their “explanation” of “match stoppage”. Not to mention, I don’t think you can have “sources” for something you’ve witnessed happened. But hey, thanks for reading!
