Larson is now the leader of Chip Ganassi Racing’s Cup Series team, and he will need to prove that he is a winner again in 2019. He was consistently near the front the entire season, but never could find his way into victory lane. After scoring six second place finishes in 2018, Kyle Larson will definitely find his way into victory lane once, if not more than that, in 2019.
The seven time cup series champ is in a win-less drought that dates back to June of 2017 at Dover. While showing flashes of his former championship winning form, Johnson has struggled over the last two seasons to find the top spot. With a new sponsor and new crew chief, Johnson should be able to find his way into victory lane in 2019, and end his drought.
A change to Roush-Fenway Racing in the off-season has brought new life to the NASCAR veteran and his first three races in 2019 prove he still has what it takes to win. While finishing in the top 15 in the first two races on 2019, Newman will look to break his win-less streak that dates back to Phoenix in 2017.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
While his only two career wins have come at Daytona and Talledega in 2017, Stenhouse is off to a pretty good start to his 2019 season. Finishing sixth at Las Vegas should set him up better to run near the front throughout the year, giving him a better chance each week to break his own win less streak.
With the season only three races in, and with three difference winners so far this season, any driver has a chance to win on any given weekend. Will these four drivers notch a win this season? Only time will tell!
