Canadiens Forward Paul Byron has been suspended three games without pay for charging Florida Panthers Defenseman MacKenzie Weegar in Tuesday’s game between the Canadiens and Panthers.

Byron was given a minor penalty for charging on the play that took place during the second period.

The Forward will also forfeit $18,817.20 to the Player’s Emergency Assistance Fund.
