Former Alabama quarterback Jalen hurts will be transferring to the University of Oklahoma for his senior season. During his time with the Crimson Tide, Hurts started his freshman year and most of his sophomore year before he was replaced by Tua Tagovailoa.
In his two seasons as a starter, Hurts passed for 4,861 yards, 40 passing touchdowns, and rushed for 1,809 yards, with 21 rushing touchdowns. He also led Alabama to two National Championships.

Lincoln Riley has also coached Baker Mayfield, former Heisman winner and the number one overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft. He also coached Kyler Murray this seasons who won the Heisman Trophy and has declared for the NFL draft. Hurts will be able to play next season, since he is now a university graduate.
