The story of this game was the domination of the Houston Texans. From the start, the Colts were all over Deshaun Watson. The defense got three sacks through the course of the game. CB Kenny Moore also added an interception.
The Colts won the game with a final score of 21-7. The entire first half was riddled with mistakes by the Texans. The second half it almost seemed like the Colts took their foot off the throttle and coasted their way to the end of the game.
Andrew Luck has officially returned to pre-Injury form. He went 19 for 32 with 222 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Most of those incompletions were in the second half of the game. He ended the first half 16-22 for 192 yards and both those touchdowns.
No one on the Texans strong run defense could stop the train that was Marlon Mack. He finished the game with 148 yards on 24 attempts and a touchdown. He averaged 6.2 yards per carry.
The defense was just as good, led by Moore who had a sack and an interception along with 6 tackles. Darius Leonard had 13 tackles and a pass defection. Clayton Gathers also managed to get himself nine total tackles.
Watson three the ball 49 times, he only connected on 29 of those throws. He ended the game with 235 yards, one touchdown and one interception. the offensive line let him down once again. He got rushed throughout the game.
The Texans season is over while the Colts move on to face the number one seed in the AFC next weekend. Colts Vs. Chiefs next weekend!
