Led by future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees, the New Orleans Saints look to continue their success. After winning what many people consider to be the game of the year against the Rams, the Saints have high hopes for the rest of the season.

Brees is once again showing why he is one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game. Arguably one of his best years yet, Brees has put up 2,336 yards and 18 touchdowns. With the acquisition of wide receiver Dez Bryant, the offensive roster will be lethal to opposing defenses. Bryant, who was a superstar with the Dallas Cowboys, will look to regain his composure with the red hot Saints. The Saints have a number of weapons surrounding Drew Brees on offense. Alvin Kamara won the starting role in the backfield over Mark Ingram this year, however the Saints still have utilized Ingram after he returned from suspension. Through eight games, Kamara has put up 490 yard and 9 touchdowns.

The receiving crew is led by Michael Thomas, one of the most dynamic players this season. So far this season Thomas has led the team with 880 yards and 5 touchdowns. However, a great offense cannot prosper without a great defense. Saints have many key players on defense such as Cameron Jordan, Sheldon Rankins, and Marshon Lattimore. The defense may not rank at the top, but the talent level is there.

Can Sean Payton lead the Saints deep into the playoffs? With all the stars the Saints have, they are a high prospect for a Super Bowl run. Midway through the season, a deep playoff run is promising. With the streak currently at seven games, the Saints will look for their 8th straight win next week against the Cincinnati Bengals.
