It was revealed by head coach Pete Carroll on Tuesday that wide receiver Doug Baldwin will miss a few weeks due to a sore knee.
The two-time Pro Bowler led the WR corps with 75 catches and 991 yards last season. Doug Baldwin has a career total of 443 receptions, 5,945 receiving yards and 44 TDs. Baldwin’s absence could be troublesome for the Seahawks, who lost tight end Jimmy Graham and wide receiver Paul Richardson to free agency.
Wide receiver depth is an issue right now for the Seahawks, even though they signed six time Pro Bowler Brandon Marshall in free agency. However, Marshall is not guaranteed a spot on the roster as of now.
They hope for Baldwin to return in a few weeks fully recovered, but only time will tell.
