According to multiple outlets and reports – Matt Riddle has officially signed a deal with WWE.
BodySlam.Net reports that Riddle has signed a 3-year contract with WWE. While it is not confirmed, many speculate that The King of Bros will make his first appearance for the company while sitting in the crowd at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn 4, as many blockbuster NXT bound signings tend to do. Many anticipated the signing after Riddle went on a purge of canceling appearances in various promotions.
Riddle is a former UFC fighter with a record of 8-3, began wrestling on the independent circuit in 2014. Since then, he has fought in a number of different promotions against some of the best in the business. With names like Kyle O’Reilly, Cody Rhodes, Katsuyori Shibata, David Starr, and Zack Saber Jr. just to name a few.
Riddle’s final indie appearance will be for Evolve that weekend, he is their current champion.
