Former Duke Standout Signs Two Way Contract With Magic

Finishing last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves affiliate, free agent forward Amile Jefferson has agreed to a two-way NBA contract with the Orlando Magic.

Jefferson played in 46 games for the Iowa Wolves. Averaging nearly 35 minutes per game, he was able to put together an attractive line of stats over the course of the season.

He averaged 17.8 points and 12.8 rebounds, while getting the ball through the hoop at an effective rate of 62 percent.

Orlando already has good talent in their front court and with the Magic adding Jerell Martin in free agency, drafting Mo Bamba in the draft, and having Jonathan Issac in good health now, the path to having a role with the Orlando Magic any time soon looks steep for Jefferson.
