Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Clint Capela and the Houston Rockets have come to an agreement on a new 5-year, $90 million contract extension.

This move solidifies the Rockets’ 3 core players, after the former #1 seed lost two of their teams biggest pieces in Trevor Ariza and Luc Mbah a Moute to free agency.

It remains to be seen whether the Rockets will now focus their full attention on a deal with former All-Star Carmelo Anthony, but only time will tell if the Rockets will return to the top of the mountain.
