DeAndre Jordan and the Dallas Mavericks have agreed to a one-year deal worth $24.1 million. As you may remember, Jordan backed out on a verbal agreement in 2015 to sign with the Mavericks.
Jordan averaged 12.0 points and 15.2 rebounds last year with the Clippers. He was the last remaining player that was a part of the “lob city” team that included Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and a lot of heart-breaking playoff exits.
Jordan can officially sign after the moratorium period ends on Friday. Though he changed his mind during the moratorium period in 2015, don’t look for that to repeat.
