Yesterday the Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins traded some assets, however it was clear the goal of both teams.

Pittsburgh needs to make some salary cap space this offseason, trading Forward Conor Sheary and Defenseman Matt Hunwick to Buffalo to make 5.25 million in cap space.

In return Buffalo sent Pittsburgh a 2019 4th Round Draft Pick.

This trade in my opinion appeals to both teams, the Penguins cleared up some space, and the Sabres received a solid Forward and Defenseman.
