We all know by now that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is in the twilight of his career. In an interview with Oprah earlier this week he stated that “the end is near, sooner rather than later.”
It’s absolutely understandable, he is near 41 years old with children who are growing up. He wants to be a dad to his kids. He wants to be around for his kids.
This leads me to believe that the 2018 season will be the final season for the greatest QB of all time.
The Patriots opted not to get a solid QB in the top half of the draft and instead will rely on backup Brian Hoyer again this season.
New England brought in QB Christian Hackenberg for a visit. Hackenberg is a former New York Jets player. He was traded earlier this offseason to the Oakland Raiders in an effort to cut some QB dead weight. After the trade, it only took him three weeks to get released.
