With a game that wasn’t filled with many storylines, Curry sits in the spotlight after this one. He set an NBA Finals record with 9 three-pointers. Ray allen previously held the record with 8.

Curry scored 27 of his 33 total points from behind the arc.  He had just as many three’s as the entire Cavalier’s team. Cleveland shot just 33 percent on 27 attempts while Curry alone shot 52.9 percent on 17 attempts.

He sunk a miraculous shot early in the fourth quarter.

Before tonight, LeBron James had the most three-pointers in NBA Finals games.  Now, Steph Curry is atop that list with 90.

The case for Finals MVP is led by Curry early in the series as the Warriors sit with a 2-0 lead. He’s averaging 31.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 8.0 assists, shooting 44.9 percent from the field, 49.2 percent from the three and he’s perfect from the line.
