The Buffalo Bills have been rebuilding for the last decade. Since 2006, they have gone through 7 head coaches, from Dick Jauron to current head coach Sean McDermott. Things in Buffalo seem to have taken a turn for the better, as they recently ended their 17 year playoff drought last season.
The Bills have filed a trademark for the motto: “Respect the Process” last week. They may, however, run into a small obstacle. That’s what the Philadelpha 76ers fans chant during games. The problem in Philadelphia is that the 76ers never filed the trademark. But wait, there’s more. 76ers forward Joel Embiid did file for the trademark: “Trust the Process” in 2016. But we’re not going to get into trademark law or litigation here, we’ll let the attorneys battle this one.
The motto seems fitting for the Buffalo Bills after aggressively moving up in the 2017 NFL draft and nabbing Wyoming QB Josh Allen, who has been lighting up the Bills OTAs. But the organization may let this one slip to the Philadelphia 76ers; More specifically Joel Embiid.
