Titan FC bantamweight AND flyweight Champion José ‘Shorty’ Torres has officially signed a multi-fight deal with the UFC.

His first fight will be June 1st in Utica, New York. He is replacing Hector Sandoval and will be fighting Jarred Brooks. The fight will take place at 125lbs.

Jose ‘Shorty’ was last seen at Titan FC 48, where he defended his flyweight title by KO’ing Alberto Orellano in the first round.

Torres is a perfect 7-0, won and defended both his belts multiple times in Titan FC. And is now getting his shot in the big show. The world is about to get put on notice, ladies and gentleman. The UFC’s flyweight division just got a whole lot more exciting.

In the words of the great Jim Ross, “business is about to pick up” and I can’t wait to see this kid unleash his fury inside the octagon.
