A statement was issued by Rick Carlisle making things clear that the rumors about his interest in the coaching job in Milwaukee are inaccurate and he works for Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks.

There have been reports recently that Carlisle was one of the top candidates for the Bucks head coaching job.

The position in Milwaukee looks awfully attractive but Carlisle has just completed his first year of a five year contract with the Mavericks and you would expect him to stay put.

It would be kind of crazy if you didn’t have some interest though.  Who wouldn’t want to coach Giannis Antetokounmpo?

By releasing a statement it should quiet the buzz around the issue.  It does seem like he is committed to where he’s at but with such talent on the other side you cant help but wonder who is drooling over the job.
