With their backs against the wall in Winnipeg for Game 6, the Nashville Predators were able to force a Game 7 with a solid 4-0 road win.

After a disappointing 6-2 loss in Game 5, it looked as if the Predators’ historic season would be coming to an end in Winnipeg last night.

However, Nashville Goalie Pekka Rinne stopped all 34 shots he faced to record a shutout, while Filip Forsberg and Viktor Arvidsson each scored 2 goals.

Now, Winnipeg will take on Nashville for a highly anticipated Game 7 at Bridgestone Arena Thursday at 8:00 PM ET.

If Nashville can bring the same game they did last night, it is hard to believe that Winnipeg will be able to beat Nashville, especially on their home ice.

Both teams now have two road wins, and only one home win.

The Jets were simply unable to get anything going after Arvidsson’s first goal just over a minute into the game.

Even when the game was only 1-0, or 2-0, it never really felt like Winnipeg was going to be able to come back on Nashville.

Filip Forsberg sealed the deal, making it 3-0 in the third with yet another eye grabbing goal, scoring with his stick between his legs.

Arvidsson then put in an empty net goal, just for good measure.

Game 7 Winnipeg at Nashville, this is the game anyone who follows the NHL has been waiting for all year.
