The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Boston Celtics 103-92 in Game 4, avoiding elimination and forcing a Game 5 in the series. Contributions from several Philadelphia player’s including Dario Saric ( 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists), double-doubles from Joel Embid (15 points, 13 rebounds), Ben Simmons (19 points, 13 rebounds), and a career high 19 points for T.J. McConnell resulted in a win. For Boston, rookie Jayson Tatum led in points, scoring 20. A close game in the first half, there were 8 lead changes and the game was tied four times. The second half saw the 76ers clicking on all cylinders going up by 18 points with 10:02 remaining in the the fourth quarter. Boston would cut the lead to 10 late in the quarter but would never close the gap.
There were several heated moments between teams in the game including a scuffle between Joel Embid and Terry Rozier.
Game 5 will take place on Wednesday May 8th, and we expect it to be a heated and chippy one for sure.
