We all know that the New York Jets drafted QB Sam Darnold with the 3rd Overall Pick in the draft. This meant that the Jets would have four QB’s on the roster going into camp.

Darnold, Christian Hackenburg, Josh McCown, Bryce Petty, and Teddy Bridgewater. They have just trimmed their QB depth to four.

The Jets announced that they have released QB Bryce Petty. Petty was dubbed as the future of the team when he was drafted back in 2015. That didn’t work out so well.

In 10 career games, he went 1-6 as a starter with 1,353 Yards, 4 TD’s, and 10 interceptions.
