The Winnipeg Jets have defeated the Minnesota Wild 4-1 and will advance to the Western Conference Semi-Finals.

This is Winnipeg’s first playoff series win in franchise history.

So not only has this year’s team given Winnipeg their first playoff game win, but also their first series win, giving the Jets a chance to advance to the Western Conference Finals.

Minnesota was simply outplayed by the Jets as Winnipeg had an impressive offensive night, scoring 4 goals in the first period.

Along with Hellebuyck getting his second straight shutout against 30 shots, this was more than enough to propel the Jets over the Wild 5-0.

Winnipeg is now waiting for the winner of the Colorado Nashville series which will have Game 6 Sunday at 7:00 PM ET.

The Jets have to be a team no one wants to play as they are currently playing their best hockey, with a tremendous home ice advantage and the best home ice record this season.
