Los Angeles Kings’ Defenseman Drew Doughty has been suspended by the NHL for one game and will not be playing in game two tonight against Vegas.

Doughty caught Vegas’ William Carrier with his shoulder, there was head contact created with the hit, however I feel the only reason Doughty was suspended is the fact that Carrier suffered a concussion and may not play in game two.

There wasn’t even a penalty called on the play.

This is a major blow to the Kings’ defense and in my opinion is the deciding factor of this game, possibly the series.

The Kings take on the Golden Knights tonight at 10:00 PM ET.
