The Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs played game one of their highly anticipated first round series which resulted in Boston recording a 5-1 win.
With Boston facing several injuries in the end of the season, there was much debate about whether or not they could make it past Toronto in this round.
Boston took that and used it as motivation as they put on an offensive clinic that included three power play goals.
If Toronto can’t turn things around in game two, then games three and four in Toronto become must wins for the Maple Leafs.
Game two will take place Saturday at 8:00 PM ET in Boston as the Bruins will be looking to take a 2-0 series lead.
