The Swedish twins Henrik and Daniel Sedin played in their last game in Vancouver last night against the Arizona Coyotes.
Although this was a disappointing season as the Canucks are currently 26th in the league with just 72 points, the fact that the Sedins will no longer be playing is what will be remembered from this year.
In their last games of their careers in Vancouver, Henrik and Daniel stole the spotlight as the game went to overtime with Henrik assisting on Daniel’s game winning goal.
The Canucks were able to overcome a 3-1 third period deficit to force the game into overtime ending in a 4-3 Vancouver win.
Overall the Sedins both had a solid night with Daniel recording 2 goals, and Henrik recording 2 assists.
The two will play in their last games of their NHL careers tomorrow night in Edmonton at 10:00 PM ET.
