The Yankees outfield is catching the injury bug instead of fly balls. Former Gold Glove winner Jacoby Ellsbury return has been set back due to a hip issue. “It’s going to cost him a couple days here. Hopefully it’s not a huge setback” stated Yanks skipper Aaron Boon this afternoon in a press conference. Ellsbury was set to return this Thursday.

OF Billy McKinney is also heading to the DL after crashing into the left field wall at the Rogers Center in Toronto. Mckinney’s x-rays came back negative but was diagnosed with a left AC joint shoulder sprain. Yanks are also without Clint Frazier and Aaron Hicks and are 2-2 despite being without some key players. Look for the team to adjust as they recently have by shifting the outfield around, we saw Aaron Judge in center field the other day so we will see how this affects the teams play.
