The Los Angeles Rams traded for WR Brandin Cooks and a 2018 fourth round pick from the New England Patriots on Tuesday.
In return, New England receives the 23rd pick in this year’s draft as well as a 2018 sixth round selection.
Only one year ago, Cooks was traded from New Orleans to New England for a first round pick.
In his one season in New England, Cooks amassed 1,082 receiving yards and caught seven touchdown passes, and had a decent outing in Super Bowl 52 before sustaining a concussion on a big hit from the Eagles’ Malcolm Jenkins.
Cooks will come in to replace the hole Sammy Watkins left open when he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.
After signing Ndamukong Suh, Aqib Talib, and Marcus Peters earlier this offseason, it seems as though the Rams are amassing what some could dub a “Dream Team.”
Could this one work out better than Philadelphia’s from a few years ago?
Only time will tell.
