The Pittsburgh Steelers are using their last possible option to keep Le’Veon Bell with the team. They are expected to officially tag him before Tuesday’s deadline, according to NFL.com Ian Rapoport.
Bell is a key member of the Steelers offense. He just wants to be paid as such. Bell would make around $14 million if he signs the tag. Both side are expected to keep working towards a long term deal.
Bell will be the third player to get the tag this offseason. Both Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry and Lions DE Ziggy Ansah have been tagged. Landry is expected to sign his tag.
